Only 10% of the US Senate is Pro-Torture!

So, the senate votes 90-9 to not allow the torture of anybody held in US custody, no matter where they are held and Bushadminco has this to say:

Bush administration officials say the legislation would limit the president’s authority and flexibility in war.

No torture? How will the president be taken seriously? How can the president have authority without being able to torture detainees?

Meanwhile, have you noticed how little media attention is being placed on the statements of Graner & England about how high up knowledge of torture at Abu Ghraib went?

Yeah. Funny, innit?

I got nuthin'. Writing about this crap just makes me want to scream and cry and blow up government buildings. So I'm trying to avoid doing too much of it this time around.

But yeah. I've noticed.
